What medium level restrictions mean for you
- Our daily water usage target is 200 litres per person
- Town water can be used to efficiently irrigate gardens, as long as it’s in accordance with guidelines
- Vehicles can be washed with a bucket at any time
- Hoses can be used during set times for watering gardens and cleaning vehicles and outdoor areas
- Lawns can not be watered with town water
- New pools can be filled with town water
- Rain water can be used at any time

SEQ - central areas
Medium level restrictions and Target 200 currently apply to Brisbane City, Ipswich City, Lockyer Valley Regional Council, Logan City, Moreton Bay Regional Council and Somerset Regional Council.
Sunshine Coast, Redlands, Scenic Rim
Permanent water conservation measures will commence on 1 December 2009 for residents in Sunshine Coast Regional Council, Scenic Rim Regional Council and Redland City Council.
