Where do Level 6 restrictions apply?

Councils affected by Level 6 water restrictions include Brisbane City, Gold Coast City, Ipswich City, Lockyer Valley Regional Council, Logan City, Moreton Bay Regional Council, Scenic Rim Regional Council and Somerset Regional Council.

From 15 March 2008, a number of Councils have amalgamated and had boundary and name changes. This does not impact the application of Level 6 Water Restrictions. References to Councils, as Water Service Providers, under Level 6 restrictions have been updated.

(There is a temporary relaxation of restrictions on outdoor water use for Gold Coast residents while the Hinze Dam is overflowing.) Read more about the relaxation.
