SEQ

On 11 April 2009 Medium Level Restrictions and Target 200 were introduced in SEQ. This applies to Brisbane City, Ipswich City, Lockyer Valley Regional Council, Logan City, Moreton Bay Regional Council and Somerset Regional Council.

Redland City Council, Scenic Rim and Sunshine Coast Regional Councils

Regionally consistent residential water restrictions will commence for Redland City Council, Scenic Rim and Sunshine Coast Regional Councils on 1 December 2009. Compliance measures for non-residential users commenced on 30 March 2009.

Gold Coast

Gold Coast City Council area is currently on suspended restrictions for a range of outdoor water uses but non-residential restrictions still apply.

Regionally consistent residential water restrictions will commence for Gold Coast on 1 December 2009, regardless of the level of Hinze Dam at that time.

Business restrictions

Business and industry, government and other large (non-residential) users of water need to conserve water supplies by using less and being more efficient water users. Business restrictions apply to all businesses.
