Metering

Grid Participants have rights and obligations in relation to the measurement of water volume and water flow, the collection of metering data, and the provision of metering data to the Water Grid Manager and other Grid Participants.

Grid Participants may refer to the SEQ Water Market Rules Volume Calculation Methodology Version 2.0 Effective 1 Oct 2009 (PDF, 484KB) to assist in understanding their obligations regarding the calculation of volumes under Grid contract documents.  

Version 2.0 simplifies the description of the volume calculation algorithms and updates the loss rates to apply to the calculations of volumes for Brisbane City Council, Gold Coast City Council, Logan City Council, Moreton Bay Regional Council and Redland City Council.
