High Level Restrictions
Target 170 and High Level Restrictions commenced on 31 July 2008*.
We’re asking everyone to Target 170 litres a day but use only what you need. As long as we continue with our water wise habits, it’s highly unlikely we’ll ever need to return to extreme restrictions and Target 140 again.
Business and industry must continue to use water efficiently by operating in accordance with Water Efficiency Management Plans, retrofitting with water efficient devices and following best practice guidelines where applicable.
